The controversy began on Friday after a person named KK Dixit allegedly posted objectionable content related to a religious book. He was subsequently arrested and sent to jail following a court order.

Later that night, Lubina Zia, a resident of Tareen Jalan Nagar, reportedly shared Dixit’s post on her social media account, adding further offensive comments against Hindu gods and goddesses. Another individual, Mohammad Zaman Khan, is also accused of making similar remarks online.

In a separate incident, Arsh Quraishi allegedly posted derogatory comments about the Bajrang Dal. On Saturday, VHP representatives met with SP Rajesh Dwivedi, demanding strict action against the three individuals.

Police arrested Lubina Zia from the Gadiyana Tiraha area. She was presented in court and subsequently sent to jail.

SP Rajesh Dwivedi stated that the situation in the city remains peaceful. He added that the police are closely monitoring social media activities and urged citizens to act responsibly and maintain peace, harmony, and mutual brotherhood. The investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to apprehend the remaining accused.
